Actually, they’re not missing, I know exactly where they are
I had four wisdom teeth pulled this morning. The bottom ones were out in an amazingly short time, and although the top ones took a little while and they hurt a bit, it really wasn’t so bad. My face is really swollen though, and I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to eat anything at all. I’m guessing it’ll be easier to drink when my face/mouth/lips/etc aren’t numb.
One of the shots to numb me up was the worst I’ve ever gotten, but even at that it wasn’t that bad. It amazes me how little it hurts to get a needle stuck into you.
It’s a whole lot easier to type that to talk, so I might have to just chat with my family online until I get the gauze out of my mouth
I took some video footage before and after and I’ll probably upload it to youtube sometime and when I do I’ll blog about it.

Oh! You poor thing!
Clove oil is wonderful for numbing gums without side effects…and it wears off a little quicker. So if you get desperate as the stuff from the dentist wears off, you can use some on a Q-tip. Warm mashed potatos might feel good on your stomach as well as on the way down. I hope you get to feeling better SOON!

My mom just got 4 teeth out, too. But she’s recovered very quickly, and better than we all expected. Hopefully the relief of not having the pain and annoyance when the teeth were in there will carry you over til you can talk and eat again!!
Have you ever had a shot in the gums above your top two front teeth? That is THE worst injection to *ever* get.

Dianna, thanks for the tip!
Bethany, augh! I’m glad she’s recovering well. Yes, I have fillings in, um, well, I’d better not say exactly how many locations
But I will say two of my root canals are on front teeth.
Carol, thank you so much
You guys are so kind to me
