This evening we leave for Phoenix. It’s going to be a long haul, I heard it was 1200 miles between here and there. We did a concert last night and have one this morning. Our throats are froggy still, but it hasn’t been too bad. Could be worse.
Short updates, lately!
Last night I brushed my teeth on a main highway in downtown Houston over a regular sized sink with a regular faucet. Someone beeped - the light was on and it’s pretty easy to see in the window in the kitchen.

I haven’t brushed my teeth on a main highway in a long time, I usually use a tooth brush.

Hmm… you mean someone wanted to ’say Hi’ with their car horn when they thought your oral hygiene needed recognition? Texans are even weirder than I thought! Friendliness comes in many flavors, minty fresh! Maybe clean teeth are something to crow about in the southland, like ‘Hey, that’s what I do, too!” I remember they told me that saying ‘Hi’ is like giving friendly ’strokes’ to other folks. I want to have a stroke. Maybe one of these days.
I never did understand the significance of beeping while brushing, I guess. Beep beep, the sheep?
