I’m dressed pretty inappropriately for cold weather (capris and sleeveless) but the temperature out here, combined with the wind is just the weather for feeling cold in the shade of a cloud, but a little warm in the sunshine. It’s nice, though, and I’m not complaining
I am sitting by a pool and by a river and my two insane siblings are in the pool. (It’s cold!) The wireless miraculously works out here, and I feel like a spoiled brat. I have a book that I’m almost finished with (Great Expectations) and I have a little ziplock bag of miniature Charleston chews and gummy orange slices - for which I feel incredibly silly. I mean, who does that? School kids, I’d imagine, on their field trips. Or maybe I just wish I had little bags of candy when I was little. I *had* a big mug of tea, but I’ve drunk it all.
Like I said, I feel spoiled!

Ok. I’m out to kayak in the river from which great alligators rose recently, consuming two of the sheep grazing in the pasture nearby. If you don’t get any blog posts from me for a while, well, you know…

We have like 9-10 inches of snow here. Wow! I cannot believe your siblings went in the pool (who, btw?). I cannot imagine that right now especially with 10 inches of snow! (well there is not 10 inches of snow where you are, but…..). I bet you’re glad that you are not here though, with so much snow?! I cannot wait ’til spring! Ttys!

PS, I have done that before, put my candy in a bag! I actually did it last summer. Well, I am younger than you, but, still……..
ha-ha!

Heh, it was Hannah and Daniel!
And I did hear you got a lot of snow up that way.
I guess the problem with the bag was that it was such a *large* zip lock. Not a nice little discrete one

I wish I could kayak right now if there wasn’t at least a foot of ice on the lake, but I don’t think I would kayak with alligators either!
Hope you had fun and didn’t get eaten!

PS.(I’m commenting as Rhonda because she’s done it before.)

Heh, I just had to approve my own comment!
I didn’t get eaten - it was cold in the wind, actually, and when I came back my hands were stiff and I had a hard time typing or anything. Maybe it was too cold for the alligators

Hannah and Daniel……you’re crazy. Ha-ha!! Yeah, I guess a *large* ziplock bag is a little different, but still, it’s ok, we all do “funny” things in our life. Ha-ha!

Funny about being dressed for cold.
During the winter, it would be 14F. I put a coat on my three year old sister to bring her in the car. As soon as she got in the car, she took her coat off. “I am soooo hot!” she wailed.
I sat beside her, shivering, covering my hands with her coat. You can guess where I am moving as soon as I turn 18!
