I’ve heard some feedback about my post below already. I am surprised! For one, surprised that anyone had read it in that short time, and second, that anyone noticed it as anything other than an ordinary post.
Of course, to say things like “I don’t appreciate the audience” would be “bad for business.” But it indeed isn’t a business, and I do indeed appreciate the audience. I’m just tired at the moment. I really do feel like making music all of my life, but it isn’t something that can always be boxed.
Sometimes singing in the shower seems to be all I can manage
And I don’t know if I even sing in the shower.
8 weeks of touring down, one to go! (or about that much.)
I feel extremely lazy, by the way. That is probably the cause of the problems and the stress. Snap out of it, Bonnie! March…march (and I mean “left, right, left, right). But I guess I might mean the month, too. Who knows what will happen in this March.

Lift your chin, child.
When you sing, you put beauty on the table. If the diners are impassive, the fellow-cooks neglectful, still — you have done this thing, you have put beauty there.

Hey Bonnie,
I’m sorry to hear things are going ruff. I can completely understand where you’re coming from with the whole ‘performance’ thing too. I love the people interaction at my work, but sometimes I go through phases where it’s all I can do to bring a smile to my face, let alone strike up conversation with them!
