I’ve never considered going to Bob Jones University but I came across this in their list of student requirements (for men).

# Hair is to be cut in a traditional, conservative style–not shaved, spiked, tangled or shelved. It should not be colored or highlighted.
# Sideburns should not extend past the middle of the ear. Men are expected to remain clean-shaven.

I think that’s pretty funny. No hair on the chin but no shaved heads allowed? I wonder if they allow bald people in. They don’t mention anything about women legs and armpits, but I wouldn’t be surprised if shaving those are mandated :P For the women, they say hairstyles should be “neat, orderly, and feminine. Avoid cutting-edge fads..” That’s good advice, to avoid cutting-edge fads, but what does it have to do with learning? What does it even have to do with anything? And I’m awfully curious to know - who determines what a “cutting-edge fad” hairstyle is?

I really should blog something *nice* for today, since I just realized it’s spring! I totally missed celebrating that day :( This is a good season :) This year it is a good season, particularly.

When I was in California it was a lot like spring or summer. It was so green!
