My, I have boring titles lately. Boring content too, come to think of it. But I guess I’ll just update you a little. I’m in Kentucky visiting my fiance’s parents and headed back to Florida tomorrow. We have a *long* drive ahead of us!
Night before last we stayed in an Amish community. No running water, no electricity. It was quite interesting. When we first got there, we could see a slight glow from the windows. There were two oil lamps on. It was such a relaxing environment. We talked for a while and then headed to bed. First I was showed to the outhouse, which was down the stairs and out the basement door. Then I headed upstairs to my room, where the window was open a crack and the wind outside could heard whipping around and whistling as it passed over parts of the house.
The next day I started hearing doors open and things creak and I thought for sure it must be 3am, and they were getting up to do chores, but it was about 6, and in a few minutes someone knocked on my door and said breakfast was ready. Which was homemade bread, toasted, with eggs and granola and milk.
Then we bundled up and went for a buggy ride and ended up at their school for the special program (last day of school, I guess?). We sang together and the children sang, and a few people did some little speeches.

This one does not have any boring title. Right now it seems not to have one, or perhaps it is ‘355′ as can be seen in its name on the address bar (which is no bar). They have bars in Kain-tuck. Davy killed him a bar. Thar, he did. In Kain-tuck! So did my long-lost cousin Dan’l. (Bune).
They say some folks cannot spell. I can see the words people say, and sometimes they say them wrong. This buggy ride you speak of, was it also boring?
I’m guessing, it was not. Nor was it knot. That goes on the end of the whip (for the buggy) or the wind around the corner. Houses with cracks in them… what are they called? Windy? I’ll be having no clue.
