Well, make it three or more, since I don’t know what’s going to come into my mind before my post comes to a close.
For one thing, I regret something that I have done. I went shopping with my husband and I picked up some socks, and when he saw them he said “Are these the ones you want?” I nodded, and said “Yeah!” I mean, oh boy, I’ve never owned brown socks before. But now that I have brown socks, I realize why I don’t usually buy brown socks. Well, they are shades of brownish-tan that are just kind of, well, not fun. But I guess some parts of life have to be not fun and boring, so brown socks will fit the bill and now I can move on to other things in life.
I’ve noticed that a lot of my clothes are brightly colored. I still have some dark colored sleeveless tops, and my long sleeved clothes aren’t bright, but when I was looking in my closet I noticed bright orange, bright pink, purple, and teal. Maybe I’m just feeling Florida-y. My summer clothes never used to be bright.

We (from here on, “we” generally means my husband and I) went downtown and stopped in at a piano store. It was *lovely!* Lots of Yamahas and Steinways. Beautiful pianos. So I started playing around and one of the salesmen came by and asked if I was interested in playing for churches. He said he gets lots of request for church musicians. I’ve been working on reading from the hymn book and also printing out hymns and putting numbered chords on them so I can transpose them into a bunch of keys. I need work on flatted keys. I like sharps much better.
I also printed out Schuberts Seranade (Ahhhhhhh!) and a Fugue by Bach in A Minor. It’s so nice to be playing music.
