I’m in Eugene, Oregon, and have been here since Wednesday.
The library is super-cool 
The people are fun.
I’ve been spending nearly all my time on buses and looking for a job.
Off for now!

I know an elderly widow (beena widow for something like 50 years now)that lives in Eugene, had a couple of sons that abandoned her because she is a Christian (a fierce one too) I don’t know that she has seen them in several decades, maybe more. I should find her address, I’ll bet she wouldn’t mind some company one day.

Completely confused - why are you looking for a job in Eugene? Didn’t you and your husband just move into a new house in Florida?

I feel the same way myself sometimes, Lynn. Oh well — after Oregon it’s California, Lord willing, and after that it’s Honduras or Belize. We’re on the move!

Well, the “new house” in Florida was just a new temporary dwelling (as they all are ultimately, aren’t they?). I moved to Eugene last week and Porter is moving this week.
