Eugene is not so wild, not compared to the plains the settlers went to 
Short update for now; we’re moved in to the apartment I found for us last week. If batteries for the camera materialize, then you may get to see what the place looks like!

Really glad you found a place. I was browsing Eugene on Google-Earth last night and noticed that there are perhaps five or six libraries in town. Which one did you find so appealing. You didn’t mention the name. How is your job search going for you? Fruitful, I hope. I would send batteries for your camera if you would tell me the size and whether they need to be rechargeable.

I find the big one appealing, but I haven’t been to any of the rest. There are two other branches in town.
The job search is fruitful! I’ve found part time work, still looking for more.
Thank you so much for the offer of batteries! I think there are some in the cupboard, and I plan on bringing the camera on my next ride to work. It is *beautiful* around here. It’s like no place else that I have ever lived.
